Eddy Fromentel Joins Linn Software

Linn Software is pleased to announce that Eddy Fromentel has joined the Linnsoft team as a Senior Consultant. Mr. Fromentel's relationship with Linn Software spans more than two decades and he is an expert in the application of Investor/RT features in the analysis of market behavior aimed at providing a lasting edge to traders and active investors. Those who participate in the Linn Software charting forum are likely already aware of his extensive knowledge of Investor/RT's capabilities and how to apply them in innovative ways. Moving forward, Eddy's role with Linnsoft will be both varied and considerable, impacting most customer-facing areas of the company, including our forums, as well as representing Linnsoft in other venues. We are confident that Eddy will contribute significantly to maintaining the high level of customer service Linnsoft strives to provide to the Investor/RT user community.

Over the past 23 years, Eddy has been a key contributor of ideas to our software development team for advancing the in-depth market analysis capabilities of the platform. He has also been a pioneer and early adopter involved in the formative years of other well known charting platforms, Ninjatrader and Bookmap for example. In his role as consultant to the company, we are also counting on him to continue to listen to our clients' feedback and enhancement suggestions, and to keep abreast of the evolution of the trading software industry. He will have an active role in defining the most promising development roadmap of Investor/RT.

Finally, Eddy has experience in both the EU and US futures markets from both a retail and institutional perspective. As a private investor and day trader, Eddy began trading electronically in the late 1990s. As a chemical and process engineer, he enjoyed a successful career in the oil industry, implementing, among other things, innovative approaches in terms of pricing risk management, hedging techniques and margin forecasting tools.
