IQFeed - Getting Started

Step One - What you'll need to start:

  • Be sure you have a Subscription or trial of Investor/RT.
  • DTN IQFeed login credentials, username and pin will be sent to your by DTN when you subscribe to IQFeed. A 7-day Trial of IQFeed is available to new DTN customers.
  • Visit https://www.iqfeed.net and download/install the DTN IQFeed client software.

Step Two - Start Investor/RT for the first time.

Investor/RT introduces an important new data handling option titled Consolidated Tape in version 13.2 for all users of the DTN IQFeed data services. The Consolidated Tape option not only provides users the ability to see the tape in a clean, compact, and organized fashion, but also has a variety of very important efficiency and performance advantages.

DTN IQFeed

DTN IQFeed is a data service provided by DTN, a Tier 1 provider which owns and operates its own Ticker plant and data centers. DTN IQFeed allows Investor/RT to simultaneously track up to 1800 symbols realtime or delayed. IQFeed provides one of the fastest, most reliable datafeeds available to most industry leading 3rd party software packages. IQFeed is also directly compatible with Microsft Excel or OpenOffice.org's free Calc software using IQFeed's built in DDE server.
