Trading Desk

Feature suggestions for Trading Order Desk:

1. Make the width of the desk much narrower - perhaps have a portrait version
2. Include ability to attach an order(s) to a live position
3. Have ability to call up Trading Desk via a chart button
4. Allow orders to be grouped by "favourite" orders so a user can create a few ones that they are likely to use again and again - eg attach two targets to an existing position or a trail or a stop to an existing position
5. Have option not to display symbols or just one symbol as this takes up a lot of space on the desk
6. Have option not to display current ask last and bid

Thanks for considering this

Trade Order Desk vs Chart Trading DOM

The Trading Desk, sometimes referred to as the Trading Order Desk, is an older user interface to trading orders that has in large part been superceded by the ChartTradingDOM and ChartMiniTrader RTX extensions. In addition, support for server side order automation has been made available via Trading Strategy setups.  Strategies are supported by the ChartTradingDOM for all users of CQG, Gain, and Rithmic order routing. Version 13.5 has recently been updated to support server side automation of trailing stops as a strategy option. One click in the chart trading DOM can submit a parent order to enter a position at market, bid, ask, or at some limit price. From 2 to 6 stop and target orders are automatically submitted along with the parent order(s) to OCO bracket each leg of the strategy. See this article for more information.
