Hi, my principal charting platform is Investor/RT which receives its data from DTN IQFEED.
At present I use TradeStation Securities as my broker, so that my futures orders are executed on the TradeStation network.
This is far from satisfactory because I am using two different data feeds, namely DTN IQFEED for charting and the TradeStation data network for order execution and there are times when the two data feeds are out of synchronisation, which makes order execution impossible.
Consequently I have been thinking of opening a new broking account with "Trade Futures 4 Less" who are introducing brokers for Dorman Trading. They are one of the Brokers listed with IQFEED as being qualified to validate an account which uses IQFEED as its data source.
However TradeFutures4Less is not listed as a brokerage destination on the dialog drop down box on Investor/RT called "configure Data Source and Brokerage", so I am not sure what to do.
I would appreciate some feedback on this issue.
Thanks.
Looking at the web site http://tradefutures4less.com/ I see that this firm supports Rithmic, CQG, and CTS. If you setup your account with them to use the Rithmic order routing, then you can configure Investor/RT to use IQFEED as your market data source and Rithmic as your brokerage destination. This will give you integration of your brokerage execution actions with your Investor/RT charts.
We are hoping to introduce CQG order routing support later this year. We are considering supporting CTS as well but have not initiated anything as yet on that front. We have supported Rithmic order routing for many years.
Thank you for that information - it's very helpful.
