IQFeed 6.2

Chad,

Can newly released client v6.2 be used with IRT? Two things that I saw in the release notes that make me wonder are:

NEW MARKET BY ORDER FEED - This version implements orderbook for CME and ICE exchanges. This replaces the old Market Depth feed and will require development to implement on your end.

64bit! - IQConnect (the main feed component) and all display apps are now 64bit. We will no longer distribute 32bit versions of these core IQFeed components. This also requires a change to installation practices for IQFeed so if your app is using a hard coded IQFeed path to launch the feed, this will need updating.

Wondering the same

I don't see an ability to redownload the prev IQFeed version so am hesitant to install the new one without knowing for sure it will work.

Investor/RT 14.2.7 Update and IQFeed Client 6.2

Investor/RT 14.2.7 update is now available. It supporta (requires) that you use the 6.2 DTN Client software. RT 14 now supports the fuller depth of market DTN provides. Beta testing of RT 15 continues as well with support for DTN's new 6.2 protocol. The 6.2 DTN Client software, like RT 15, is 64-bit for improved performance.
