Charting Corn with OEC and DTN

Hi

I am trying to chart corn and running into 2 problems

1) The price is off. see charts below.
2) Not updating

When I first charting at the beginning of the week. Price was fine and charts updated but since yesterday they have stopped.

Charting Corn with OEC and DTN

Is this contract right at roll? If so, the issue is that the Continuous Contract you are using for the Historical Backfill is not Premium Adjusted until tonight after the close so it is currently still tracking the old contract, not the new.

Temporary Solution
Press ALT-A to open the Instrument Set-up window and press the More button to make sure the whole window is showing. Change the DTNMA symbol alias to match the upcoming contract (such as @CMYY) and then do a Full Download. After the official Roll Date, you can return to using the Continuous Contract (@C#).

Corn - Sorted

Thanks for commenting.

The rollover is in a month times. First time with corn so not sure if they change contracts a month before expiry. From the volume, this H7 is still is the favoured contract. But changing the @c# to @ch17 worked a dream.
