LOR IBH

Your syntax for LOR_IBH is...

OP < LO.1 AND HI > MPD_IBH

That is looking for price to open below previous low.....but then the high to break above the IBH (after the IB is established).  On my end it shows 38.5%, which seems reasonable.

sounds good

Seems like thats what I used and if the numbers are fine then ok.

I am trying to save the IBH and IBL signal for HOR but when I go to save it reverts the top to "new signal definition" instead of "CP_Open_HOR_IBH_AND_IBL" no matter how many times I try to save it. really slowing down this process.

IBH

Chad, could you confirm the syntax on the LOR scenario for breaking above IBH during RTH session. My previous report shows a greater chance of it breaking IBL but this current report shows that IBH is more likely to be broken by 8%. Previous Report showed that IBL had a greater chance of being broken in this scenario by 4%.

It might be a stupid question but I just want to confirm the stats are correct.

fixed the syntax

The previous comment showed the wrong syntax which would've included that price at some point touched IBH&IBL which it clearly does during the first hour.

The correct syntax, in my opinion, is the following.

OP > HI.1 AND (HI > MPD_IBH) AND (LO < MPD_IBL)

OP > HI.1 AND (HI > MPD_IBH) OR (LO < MPD_IBL)

I fixed the syntax but Its still not showing up when I try to change to it. Its like its not saving .

So far

https://www.linnsoft.com/charts/cp-openstats-shajjad-hirani-es

1. The HOR IBH&IBL % is 98%. Thats a neutral day and those are more like 20%

2. Confirm the % for ONH&ONL and ONH or ONL bc they look different then 2018 report.

3. The VAH or VAL % look off for all

4. PHI or PLO % look off for all

5. The multiples of IBH/IBL (1.5x, 2x) gave me error due to arithmetic value in AND,OR,NOT statement

6. I also want to numerically sort the panes to see highest to lowest % for all

7. Other then that, if these % are accurate then I will set up finishing the "Close Above" stats when you confirm. Is there a way to make this presentable like the jul report through the investor RT interface?

MPD_IBL Error

I looked at your syntax for HOR IBH&IBL, and that one had an error in the setup for MPD_IBL...  You had it setup like this...

when it should be setup with the SESST set to "lowest low of first 60 minutes of the session".  Which might explain all of your errors related to signals that involve IBL.  Go through all your signals and check that.

Checking for Errors

But in general, when something doesn't look correct, like your HOR IBH&IBL numbers, the first step you should take is to go into the underlying signal and double check your syntax as well as the setup of each of the tokens.

sure thing

https://www.linnsoft.com/charts/cp-openstats-shajjad-hirani-es

1. IBH OR IBL for LOR shows 54.7%. I confirmed they syntax and the tokens for IBL and IBH and they were fine. The % should be closer to 99%. The number shows 267 times out of the 270 LOR instances but the % is off...

2. IBH OR IBL for LIR shows 105.5% and I confirmed the tokens and syntax. The HOR is the only one that looks accurate and I used that and confirmed that all other things were same besides syntax.

It does show 515 time out of 526 which would be closer to the 97% but for some reason, in the pane, it shows as 105%. I confirmed that I am dividing by the c#2 value as well.

3. The multiples of IBH/IBL (1.5x, 2x) gave me error due to arithmetic value in AND,OR,NOT statement

6. I also want to numerically sort the panes to see highest to lowest % for all in that highest to lowest order. Easier to read on final report.

Close Above Homework Study

In this homework study, we are going to break each day into one of four categories based on the opening type.

Higher Outside Range (HOR) - Open is above the previous days high/range.
Higher Inside Range (HIR) - Open is between the previous day close and high.
Lower Insider Range (LIR) - Open is between the previous day low and close.
Lower Outside Range (LOR) - Open is below the previous day low/range.
And for each day type, we will calculate how frequently we CLOSED above each of the mentioned Points on the Chart.

https://www.linnsoft.com/charts/cp-openstats-shajjad-hirani-clo-es

Now, How can I get this organized in the panes by order of % numerically automatically and not manually so I can Print it out like a report? From greatest % to least %.

Homework RTX Indicator

I just wanted to you know that I'm working on an RTX indicator that will do everything you've been looking for in this forum post.   Right now I'm just calling it "Homework".

Lots of work left to go. I'll be doing a lot of work on the presentation, and adding a complete list of prices to what I currently have below (pHI, pVAH, pPOC, pVAL, pLO).  But here is a preview....

Touches....

Closes Above/Below....

But give me a list of complete prices you'd like to see.  I know you want ONH and ONL, but give me your complete list of prices.....  pMID, pONMID, etc....
