Quotepages not updating

Hello,

I've created some custom session statistics used within quotepages, however, it seems though some of the data isn't updating for various instruments. For example, even basic POC column updates for ES, but remains at 0 for NQ, RTY, YM and any other instrument that I try to add. It's sparringly, meaning some columns have the correct data for all instruments, while others may have it for 2 or just 1.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciate,
Thank you in advance!

QuotePage update / Session prices & Quoteboard indicator

Hi Phillip, welcome to the IRT community.

First, let's make sure that you are "monitoring" the various instruments of the Quotepage, ie collecting live ticks for those symbols.

Please open the default "Intraday" quotepage and check that the symbols you want to monitor appear there. Execute a "full download" to make sure you have enough historical tick or 1 min data for calculating the past session prices statistics

There are various ways to display Session Prices statistics on a Quotepage. I am not sure which one you used. In all cases, I would suggest the following global approach.

  1. For each symbol, create a specific chart to generate all the levels and session statistics you want to monitor, ideally using the SessionPrices RTX indicator. Suppose some statistics are not available in this indicator, in that case, you may use the “Store into V# variables” features available in most other indicators such as the Profile indicator or a generic custom indicator.

See Session Prices (RTX)

  1. Then, after duplicating that reference chart for several instruments (all these reference charts may remain minimized), you may display all V# variables directly in a dedicated Quotepage by adding the corresponding V# variables columns.

  1. In your case, the Quoteboard indicator might be more suitable than a QP when it comes to monitor price levels. Just create a summary chart and a single Quoteboard indicator that will display all your levels for all your instruments.

The big advantage of the Quoteboard indicator (vs a Quotepage) is that it may automatically rank every V# variables / price level from the lowest to the highest price value…(In the Quoteboard setup window, you may add as many V# variables as you want)

This way, you may quickly detect what are the next nearest levels above and below the current close thanks to the hot/cold auto-coloring features. This video is quite outdated but it should help you with some of the Quoteboard settings.

See FT71 Quoteboard (video)

Let us know if you have any issues setting up these indicators. If your QP is not updating, please share some screenshots of the columns' settings.
