Hi,
please find herebelow the minor (but somewhat annoying) issue i am facing with the crosshair feature..
I have the crosshair labels “on” as I absolutely need to get the feed back information on the price or other vertical axis value whenever I point the crosshair to a specific point on a given pane of the chart
However, the crosshair is also always displaying date and time and vertical axis value at the top (or bottom) of the pane where the crosshair is being pointed to..
Unfortunately, when you have many narrow pane with a lot of information being displayed through color marker , market profile or text/ value from Paint Indicators, that display always creates a lot of interference with the information located just under …
And with 10 pane or more on a chart, and very crowded pane, I can not afford to leave an empty “row” at the top of each pane so that there would be no interference with underlying charts elements as I would be leaving to much real estate space on the chart
I have reviewed every configuration variable and could not find a solution as there is apparently no option in order to disable only that datetime value display at the top of the pane while keeping the feedback on the vertical value axis (indeed, setting CrosshairLabels to false disable both date time and vertical value display..)
I also know you can get the some feedback info on the main toolbar, but you only get the time (and not the date) and it is not as convenient as getting the information directly on the chart
Ideally, it would be nice, for example, to have the option to display the date time & value figures corresponding to the crosshair location on a fixed area of the chart, such as, for example, the top of pane #1 (whatever the position of the crosshair) as you could easily make sure that the corresponding "display" row space is free of any chart element..
This option would be some kind of equivalent of the “ShowPriceAtCrossHair” variable which allow to display (when set to false) the vertical value directly next to the axis (which is very nice as you can easily keep an "empty column" space by setting the adequate right margin..)
Thanks in advance for your suggestion on that topic
Best Regards,
Eddy
