Hey traders,

I've been waiting for about 3/4 months to turn on the TINT indicator, and finally did a little while ago.

And, oh my god...it's crazy what I think I saw last week. I *think* this tool visually solves for a lot of the problems with the old school market profile.

I learned market profile from a CBOT floor trader and of course read all I could by Steidlmayer. Traded with market profile wayyy back in the day here on IRT.

I always thought about Volume Breakdown as the next generation of market profile. And I think this TINT, specifically the Trails, is the second derivative and it's all visual.

For example, Thursday afternoon, between around 1:00 and 3:00 ET, RTY slipped into one of its dead zones of like a 10/15 tick range. I'm pretty sure that I saw the balance in the auction vis-a-vis the Trails -- I mean, you can see the auction via the order book, just big bids and offers stacked. Price was going nowhere, until all those bids and offers started going away, then the RTY started to move again. Crazy!

Other times I think I'm seeing initiative buyers enter with aggressive bids and price just flutters higher when this happens.

See it in the YM. Same in the NQ.

It's crystal clear when a responsive buyer or seller show up. And sometimes they turn the market and other times you can see when they cancel their bids or offers and price continues in prevailing direction.

What's crazy is that I'm starting to see connections between when the Trails prints something interesting, that catches my eye, that obviously stands out, and in my other outputs that have nothing at all to do with the order book data.

Am I seeing things or is anybody else picking up anything similar? I'm fascinated by this and would love to start grabbing some screenshots and swapping notes.

I thought there used to be a charting website where people shared their IRT charts? Is that still around or is there some place else where a conversation is going on about this indicator?
