Chad, I am not talking about indicator, but instrument itself, ES in this case. I use Connected Line style instead of Candlestick as in your screenshots.
Can use the Continuous Line with Style: Dotted for instrument drawing as well.
Or you can just set the drawing style to "Invisible" and add a 1 period Moving Average of Close to the chart and then have access to the wider array of drawing styles.
I like to use a Dotted Line or Steps in this situation.
Dotted Line can be implemented by choosing Line, Continuous and then make the Style = Dotted, and set width to maybe 4 or 5 as seen below.
Steps can also work well as seen below. Could also use any of the Price Box options.
