Hello,
Is it possible to make a custom profile, or a drawn profile snap to the far-right edge, like the time profiles do? I thought a toggle switch would be a great way to implement this. Allowing the user to have the ability to keep the profile at the desired date and time or allow the user to snap the profile to the far-right edge. Thank you.
Are you referring to the Profile Indicator? If so, and if the Profile Indicator is setup to draw a single profile, you would simply check the "Right Align" checkbox and it will align it to the right edge of your chart.
Say you are running a 60 minute chart, and you are now in a balance area from 09-10-2005- 09-14-2005 and you draw a micro composite to capture that data via profile. Currently the way the profiles are drawn, you would have to scroll back in the chart and mark levels and then scroll back to 2022. What I think would be another great feature, is if you could draw that micro composite and instead having to scroll back to look at that data, you could toggle a switch, and then it would snap it to the hard right edge like your example. This would also allow you to stack multiple profiles similar to how you can stack multiple time frame profiles.
To say it a different way, I want to stack micro composites to the far-right edge, the same as you can snap multiple time frame profiles vs having to scroll back in the chart and look at the profile. And even overlay those profiles on top of all bar profiles or time-based profiles. The toggle button will allow the user to decide if they want to keep the profile at the actual date the profile is drawn, or if they want to capture the data from the profile and have it drawn on the far-right edge.
Now this sounds simple, but I don't know how challenging it would be to code.
