There is a mistake in the holidays file that Investor/RT uses to note market holidays for 2021 and 2022. Dec 27, 2021 is mistakenly noted as a holiday date when the actual market holiday was Dec 24th. For 2022, Jan 3, 2022 is incorrectly listed as a market holiday. To correct, use the FIle > Functions command:
File > Functions > Override Holidays File
A text window will appear listing the contents of the myHolidays.txt file.
Scroll down to the holidays for 2021 and edit the line:
211227,H,Christmas Day (Observed)
changing the 27 to 24 and add a new line below it:
211224,H,Christmas Day (Observed)
211231,H,New Year's Eve
In the 2022 lines below this, remove the line for 220103. You may remove the line entirely, or just place a hypen or two at the beginning of the line to tell RT to ignore it.
--220103,H,New Years Day (Observed)
Then use the down arrow menu button at the upper left corner of the text window and choose Save. If you already have a myHolidays.txt file in your \admin directory, you may edit it using notepad or any text editing application and save the changes. After saving myHolidays.txt a restart of Investor/RT is required to note the revised holiday schedule.
