Questions pertaining to the PROF token.

Ive been playing around with IRT alot past week and was curious about a couple of the PROF token result options that are avaialable,

1. What does the value area of closest nPOC option represent? Theres no VA Hi or VA Lo option so dont see how it could be the value area.

2. Where did the Developing Data Delta Above POC and the Developing Data Delta Below POC fields go? They are discussed in this post.... https://www.linnsoft.com/topic/prof-token-imbalance?page=1 in Reply #19.

3, Out of curiosity, what do the Upper & lower Tail options represent? I see that they return an integer value but there is no info about those choices in the help file or in the forum.

Thanks,
Dean

Information on some specific PROF tokens

Hi Dean,
1) The "Value Area of closest nPOC" will represent the" first" Value Area price associated with the past session VPOC (having generated the current "closest naked VPOC") that would be met by the price action (assuming that price would hit again that naked VPOC price level). So, if the closest naked VPOC is above (resp below) the current close, that value area would be the VA Low (resp VA high) of the Value area of the session that generated the closest naked VPOC
Practically speaking, if you consider that such naked VPOC might provide a relevant price level (for any future price action), having access in RTL to that VA level might be useful to create an early "warning" signal, indicating that this closest naked VPOC price level might be soon traded again...

2) To access the pop-up box showing all possible output results for the "developing data" option of the PROF token, just "scroll down" the settings window (with the vertical right ladder) as the pop-up box is unfortunately not visible by default (when you first open the settings window)...

3) The Upper and lower Tail PROF tokens were introduced back in IRT 14 - These results are relevant for time-based profiles and convey the number of singles at the high (Upper Tail) or low (Lower Tail), ie it will provide the number of "single" price levels at the top and bottom section of the TPO profile - So you need to select "price and time" in the PROF token settings to get relevant output values when selecting such option.
For more information on how to display TPO charts on a multi-pane chart, please have a look at this post :

Further customization is today possible thanks to the Colors RTX indicator
