Is this a way to go about setting rules that would liquidate all active/open positions if account balance reaches -x% or dollar amount?
CQG through Amp only has an 80% of account balance liquidation rule. You can custom set any amount, but it only prevents further trades from being open.
The concern is in case of a glitch, fat fingers, power or internet loss, whatever... if a hard stop wasn’t put in place on time it would help to have a circuit breaker at say 3% of account value rather than 80% to close all open positions.
